Security Deposit:
In order to accommodate your event, Oceans requires a fifty percent (50%) security deposit. Deposit is due within 48 hours of booking the event in the form of cash, check or valid credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) to reserve the date and event space. Please note that no space will be held without this requirement being met. The remaining balance will be required within five (5) days prior to the date of your event.
Final Payment and Guest Count:
The final guest count is required five (5) days prior to the beginning of the event in order to guarantee top quality product and service. If less than the final count fails to arrive, you will be obligated to pay for the guaranteed number of people specified in the contract. Upon receipt of the final guest count five (5) days prior to the event payment in full will be due.
Cancellation:
Cancellation of an event must be given in writing (e-mail or facsimile) within 14 days prior to your party. To receive 50% of the deposit back, cancellation must be received in writing 72 hours (3days) notice. With less than 72 hours notice, 100% of the estimated cost of the party is due.
Decorations:
All decorations must be pre-approved by our Private Events manager at least 72 hours prior to your event. Confetti and glitter are NOT permitted.
Site Fees & Service Charges:
For events requiring additional setup and reserved space Oceans234 requires a venue fee of $500.00 per hour in season (December – June) and $300.00 (July – November). This fee includes the use of Oceans’ tables, chairs, and house linens (black & white). All other services i.e. entertainment, projectors, projection screens, cake cutting, colored linens, etc. are subject to additional charges. Groups and private dining menus are subject to a 20% service charge and 6% sales tax. Oceans’s accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express.
Valet Parking:
Valet Parking in the Oceans234 parking lot is available to all guests for $3.00 per car.
